On April 3, 2026, an educational and awareness-raising event dedicated to anti-corruption principles, legal compliance, and ethical values was held at the “Iftikhor” Citizens’ Assembly in Yunusabad District, Tashkent. The event brought together faculty members of the department, cardiology master’s students, and local community residents. The theme of the meeting, “The Harmony of Conscience and Law in Medical Duty,” focused on professional ethics, integrity, responsibility, and fostering zero tolerance toward corruption in the healthcare sector. The invited guest speaker was Karimjon Tadjibayevich Dekhkanov, Senior Prevention Inspector of Yunusabad District and Lieutenant Colonel. During his presentation, he highlighted the ongoing anti-corruption reforms in Uzbekistan, measures aimed at preventing legal violations, and the importance of enhancing legal awareness and civic responsibility among citizens.

At the conclusion of the event, participants emphasized that combating corruption is a shared responsibility of every citizen and that healthcare professionals must uphold the principles of honesty, legality, professional ethics, and accountability in their daily practice.
